We are delighted to welcome you to ICAME47, which will take place at the University of Koblenz – Germany’s youngest university, located just steps away from the scenic banks of the Moselle River. With its modern campus and dynamic academic spirit, the University of Koblenz offers an inspiring setting for scholarly exchange and innovation.
Our social programme will lead you into the heart of Koblenz, one of Germany’s oldest cities. Founded by the Romans as Castellum apud Confluentes at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, the city still carries this history in its very name: Koblenz. With its picturesque old town, historic fortresses, and riverside promenades, Koblenz is a gem of cultural and historical significance.
Situated in one of Germany’s most beloved wine regions, Koblenz is a popular tourist destination and a wonderful place to explore. The region’s charm is matched by its central location in Europe, making travel convenient from all directions.
