Welchen universit\u00e4ren Hintergrund haben Sie und wie haben Sie Ihren Weg in das StArfrica-Team gefunden?
<\/strong>Ich studiere zur Zeit Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Universit\u00e4t Koblenz und bin ganz einfach durch eine Rundmail von Herrn Prof. Dr. von Korflesch, meinem ehemaligen BWL-Professor, auf StArfrica gesto\u00dfen.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your academic background  and how did you find your way into the StArfrica team?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
I am currently studying Business Informatics at the University of Koblenz and by an E-mail from Prof. Dr.<\/em><\/span>
von Korflesch, my former professor of business administration, I came across StArfrica.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Seit wann sind Sie dabei, was sind Ihre Aufgaben und welche Erfahrungen bringen Sie mit?<\/strong><\/span>
Ich bin seit Anfang Juli als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft im Team und f\u00fcr das Social-Media-Management zust\u00e4ndig. Seit einem Jahr manage ich bereits das Social Media eines Social Business, namens  \u201eAventurin Waste\u201c, daher konnte ich auch bereits eigene Erfahrungen auf diesem Gebiet mitbringen.<\/span><\/p>\n

When did you join the project, what are your tasks and what experience do you bring with you?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
Since the beginning of July I have been working as a research assistant in the team and am responsible for social media management. For one year I have already been managing the social media of a social business called “Aventurin Waste”, so I was able to bring along my own experience in this field.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wie hat das Pilotvorhaben Ihr Interesse geweckt? Was ist Ihre Motivation, daran teilzuhaben?
<\/strong>Ich interessiere mich sehr f\u00fcr Afrika, die Menschen und die Kultur, ebenso wie f\u00fcr Entrepreneurship, da ich selbst \u00fcberlege, sp\u00e4ter mal ein eigenes Unternehmen zu gr\u00fcnden. Das Social Business, in dem ich auch arbeite, fungiert im Senegal, so hat die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Zusammenarbeit mit einem weiteren afrikanischen Staat schnell mein Interesse geweckt.<\/span>
Auch finde ich es wichtig internationale (Hochschul-) Partnerschaften weiter zu f\u00f6rdern und beidseitig auch zu nutzen, denn sie er\u00f6ffnen uns viele M\u00f6glichkeiten.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did the pilot project arouse your interest? What is your motivation to take part in it?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
I am very interested in Africa, its people and culture, as well as in entrepreneurship, as I am thinking about starting my own business later on. The Social Business, for which I work as well, functions in Senegal, so the possibility of working with another African country quickly aroused my interest.<\/em><\/span>
I also find it important to further promote international (university) partnerships and to benefit both sides, because they open up many opportunities for us.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Was verbinden Sie mit Ruanda? Waren Sie schon einmal in dort? Wenn ja, welche Erfahrungen haben Sie gemacht? Was hat Sie \u00fcberrascht\/erschreckt\/begeistert? Falls nicht: Haben Sie vor, nach Ruanda zu reisen und wenn ja, was erhoffen Sie sich? Was zieht Sie an, was sind Ihre Erwartungen?
<\/strong>Leider hatte ich noch nicht die M\u00f6glichkeit nach Ruanda zu reisen, es steht aber definitiv auf meiner Liste. Mit Ruanda verbinde ich eine spannende Kultur, eine offene Gesellschaft und ein Land voller M\u00f6glichkeiten.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you associate with Rwanda? Have you ever been there? If so, what experiences have you had there? What surprised\/frightened\/enthused you? If not: Do you plan to travel to Rwanda and if so, what do you hope to achieve? What attracts you, what are your expectations?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to travel to Rwanda yet, but it is definitely on my list. With Rwanda I associate an exciting culture, an open society and a country full of opportunities.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Welchen Erfolg w\u00fcnschen Sie sich f\u00fcr das Projekt StArfrica?
<\/strong>Ich hoffe nat\u00fcrlich, dass StAfrica eine Vorreiterrolle einnimmt und wir die Zusammenarbeit intensivieren k\u00f6nnen. Das Projekt soll eine Grundlage schaffen und auf weitere afrikanische L\u00e4nder umspringen, indem man das Wissen vereint, Potential erkennt und gemeinsam neue Projekte schafft. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir in diesem Projekt viel voneinander lernen k\u00f6nnen und neue Wege schaffen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What success do you wish for the StArfrica project?
<\/strong>Of course I hope that StAfrica will take a pioneering role and that we can intensify the cooperation. The project should create a basis and jump over to other African countries by combining knowledge, recognizing potential and creating new projects together.
I am sure that in this project we can learn a lot from each other and create new ways.
