Ich habe Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Industriebetriebslehre, Organisationswissenschaften und Informatik an der Universit\u00e4t zu K\u00f6ln studiert und anschlie\u00dfend in Organisationswissenschaften promoviert sowie an der Schnittstelle zwischen Organisations-\/Managementwissenschaften und Wirtschaftsinformatik habilitiert.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
I studied business administration with a focus on industrial management, organizational science and computer science at the University of Cologne and subsequently completed my doctorate in organizational science and habilitated at the interface between organizational\/management science and business informatics.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
An der Universit\u00e4t in Koblenz bin ich schon seit 2003 aktiv, und seit 2007 habe ich die Forschungsgruppe f\u00fcr Informationsmanagement, Innovationsmanagement, Entrepreneurship und organisatorische Gestaltung auf- und ausgebaut. Meine Aufgabenschwerpunkte im Projekt liegen im strategischen Projektmanagement sowie der nationalen und internationalen Vernetzung unserer Aktivit\u00e4ten. Meine Erfahrungen liegen neben Entrepreneurship gerade auch im Bereich der Internationalisierung und dessen Management.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/em><\/span><\/strong>I have been active at the University of Koblenz since 2003, and since 2007 I have established and expanded the research group for information management, innovation management, entrepreneurship and organizational design. My main tasks in the project are strategic project management and the national and international networking of our activities. In addition to entrepreneurship, my experience lies in the field of internationalization and its management.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wir hatten uns schon mehrfach erfolgreich beim BMWi um Projekte zur F\u00f6rderung von Existenzgr\u00fcndungen aus der Wissenschaft beworben und dabei Schwerpunkt auf den Ausbau der Gr\u00fcndungskultur der Universit\u00e4t in Koblenz, der regionalen Vernetzung sowie des Gr\u00fcndungs\u00f6kosystems gek\u00fcmmert. Die Internationalisierung unserer Aktivit\u00e4ten war und ist der logische n\u00e4chste Schritt. Der Schwerpunkt Afrika unseres Projektes kn\u00fcpft an den \u201cMarshallplan mit Afrika\u201d des BMZ sowie die “Pro! Afrika-Initiative\u201d des BMWi an. Ruanda, als das Partnerland von Rheinland-Pfalz, ist hierf\u00fcr ein sehr geeigneter Partner, weil dieses Land sich sehr erfolgreich bei Innovationen und Entrepreneurship aufstellt und die University of Rwanda hierf\u00fcr als unser konkreter Partner vor Ort ein hohes Potenzial er\u00f6ffnet.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had already successfully applied several times to the BMWi for projects to support business start-ups from the science sector, focusing on the development of the start-up culture of the University of Koblenz, regional networking and the start-up ecosystem. Ruanda als Land ist faszinierend, weil es sich in besonderem Ma\u00dfe innovationsoffen zeigt. Meine Erfahrungen aus pers\u00f6nlichen Aufenthalten vor Ort sind sehr positiv. Begeistert hat mich die Offenheit und das Engagement der Studierenden der University of Rwanda, mit denen wir schon gr\u00fcndungsbezogene Workshops durchgef\u00fchrt haben. Die University of Rwanda hat ein gro\u00dfes Interesse an dem Thema Innovation und Unternehmensgr\u00fcndung. In diesem Bereich ist die Uni bereits gut aufgestellt, weshalb wir das Projekt auch auf Augenh\u00f6he starten konnten.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rwanda as a country is fascinating because it is particularly open to innovation. My experiences from personal stays on site are very positive. I was impressed by the openness and commitment of the students of the University of Rwanda, with whom we have already held start-up workshops. The University of Rwanda has a great interest in the topic of innovation and business start-up. The university is already well positioned in this area, which is why we were able to start the project at eye level.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ich w\u00fcnsche mir, dass wir das Projekt so umsetzen k\u00f6nnen, dass wir unsere selbst gesetzten Ziele erreichen: Mehrere Startups aus Ruanda, die sich in Deutschland niedergelassen haben und ebenso mehrere deutsche Startups, die ihren Markt nach Ruanda erweitert haben. Au\u00dferdem hoffe ich, dass wir damit eine nachhaltige Wirkung erzielen und wir \u00fcber die vier Jahre hinaus nicht nur mit der University of Rwanda kooperieren, sondern auch andere f\u00fcr das Projekt begeistern und in weiteren L\u00e4ndern Afrikas deutsch-afrikanische Inkubatoren aufbauen k\u00f6nnen. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
My wish is that we can implement the project in such a way that we can achieve the goals we have set ourselves: Several startups from Rwanda that have settled in Germany and also several German startups that have expanded their market to Rwanda. I also hope that this will have a lasting effect and that we will not only cooperate with the University of Rwanda over the four years, but also inspire others to join the project and establish German-African incubators in other African countries.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
