Welchen universit\u00e4ren Hintergrund haben Sie und wie haben Sie Ihren Weg in das StArfrica-Team gefunden?
<\/strong>Ich studiere Psychologie und Management und \u00d6konomie an der Universit\u00e4t Koblenz und bin durch eine Mail von Herrn Prof. Dr. von Korflesch auf StArfrica gesto\u00dfen.<\/p>\n

What is your academic background  and how did you find your way into the StArfrica team?<\/em><\/strong>
I study psychology and management and economics at the University of Koblenz and came across StArfrica through an email from Prof. Dr. von Korflesch.<\/em><\/p>\n

Seit wann sind Sie dabei, was sind Ihre Aufgaben und welche Erfahrungen bringen Sie mit?<\/strong>
Seit Anfang Juli bin ich wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft des Teams. Ich bin f\u00fcr den Blog zust\u00e4ndig und da ich vorher noch nie in diesem Bereich gearbeitet habe, hoffe ich, durch StArfrica neue Erfahrungen zu sammeln und mehr \u00fcber das Thema Entrepreneurship und Gr\u00fcndung zu lernen.<\/p>\n

When did you join the project, what are your tasks and what experience do you bring with you?<\/em><\/strong>
Since the beginning of July I have been a research assistant to the team. I am responsible for the blog and since I have never worked in this field before, I hope to gain new experiences and learn more about entrepreneurship and founding through StArfrica.<\/em><\/p>\n

Wie hat das Pilotvorhaben Ihr Interesse geweckt? Was ist Ihre Motivation, daran teilzuhaben?
<\/strong>Da ich selbst gerne nach Afrika reise und mich f\u00fcr die Kulturen und Menschen dort interessiere, hat mir die Stellenausschreibung sofort zugesagt. Das Projekt ist eine gro\u00dfe Chance, sowohl f\u00fcr Ruanda als auch f\u00fcr Deutschland und ich wollte Teil dieser guten Sache sein.<\/p>\n

How did the pilot project arouse your interest? What is your motivation to take part in it?<\/em><\/strong>
Since I myself like to travel to Africa and am interested in the cultures and people there, the job advertisement immediately appealed to me. The project is a great opportunity, both for Rwanda and for Germany and I wanted to be part of this good cause.<\/em><\/p>\n

Was verbind<\/strong> en Sie mit Ruanda? Waren Sie schon einmal in dort? Wenn ja, welche Erfahrungen haben Sie gemacht? Was hat Sie \u00fcberrascht\/erschreckt\/begeistert? Falls nicht: Haben Sie vor, nach Ruanda zu reisen und wenn ja, was erhoffen Sie sich? Was zieht Sie an, was sind Ihre Erwartungen?
<\/strong>Ich war leider noch nie in Ruanda, jedoch gibt es viele Gr\u00fcnde, weshalb ich das \u00e4ndern m\u00f6chte. Ruanda hat eine spannende Geschichte zu erz\u00e4hlen, wundersch\u00f6ne Landschaften zu bieten und eine -wie ich geh\u00f6rt habe- aufgeschlossene Kultur, die es zu kennenlernen sich lohnt.<\/p>\n

What do you associate with Rwanda? Have you ever been there? If so, what experiences have you had there? What surprised\/frightened\/enthused you? If not: Do you plan to travel to Rwanda and if so, what do you hope to achieve? What attracts you, what are your expectations?<\/em><\/strong>
Unfortunately I have never been to Rwanda before, but there are many reasons why I would like to change that. Rwanda has an exciting history to tell, beautiful landscapes to offer and – as I have heard – an open-minded culture that is worth getting to know.<\/em><\/p>\n

Welchen Erfolg w\u00fcnschen Sie sich f\u00fcr das Projekt StArfrica?
<\/strong>Ich w\u00fcnsche mir, dass StArfica sein Ziel erreicht und eine Partnerschaft entsteht, die \u00fcber die wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit hinausgeht. Es w\u00e4re sch\u00f6n, wenn wir mit den Vorurteilen, mit denen Afrika immer noch zu k\u00e4mpfen hat, aufr\u00e4umen k\u00f6nnen und wir mit dem Projekt einen Schritt in die richtige Richtung machen.<\/p>\n

What success do you wish for the StArfrica project?
<\/em><\/strong>I hope that StArfica will achieve its goal and that a partnership will develop that goes beyond economic cooperation. It would be nice if we could do away with the prejudices with which Africa is still struggling and if we could take a step in the right direction with this project.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
