It was a great pleasure for us to present our StArfrica project on the “Ruanda-Tag 2020” which was organized by the Ministry of the Interior Rhineland-Palatinate, the University of Applied Sciences Bingen and the Partnership Rhineland-Palatinate \/ Rwanda (Jumelage). It was a day full of a great spirit and people. Beginning with welcome notes by the prime minister of RLP (Malu Dreyer), his excellency the ambassador of Rwanda to Germany (Igo C\u00e9sar), his excellency the ambassador of Germany to Rwanda (Dr. Thomas Kurz), the minister of the interior RLP (Roger Lewentz), the president of the Jumelage (Dr. Richard Auernheimer) and the chairman of this event (Prof. Dr. Clemens Wollny).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All participants work in different areas and presented their past and current activities.\u00a0<\/span>Some new projects are planned in the area of agriculture and viniculture and our collaboration in the startup and scientific scene together with the University of Rwanda. Our project leader Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch had the privilege to present our project to the audience. The presentation was appreciated by his excellency the ambassador of Rwanda to Germany , Igor C\u00e9sar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is great to see that the over 35-years of collaboration between Rwanda and Germany are still filled with several ideas, projects and people from both countries. We are looking forward to being a part of this success story!<\/span><\/p>\n

Es war uns eine gro\u00dfe Freude unser StArfrica-Projekt auf dem “Ruanda-Tag 2020” vorzustellen, der vom Ministerium des Innern Rheinland-Pfalz, der Fachhochschule Bingen und der Partnerschaft Rheinland-Pfalz \/ Ruanda (Jumelage) organisiert wurde. Es war ein Tag voller guter Stimmung und Menschen. Beginnend mit der Begr\u00fc\u00dfung durch die Ministerpr\u00e4sidentin von RLP (Malu Dreyer), seiner Exzellenz dem ruandischen Botschafter in Deutschland (Igo C\u00e9sar), seiner Exzellenz dem deutschen Botschafter in Ruanda (Dr. Thomas Kurz), dem Innenminister von RLP (Roger Lewentz), dem Pr\u00e4sidenten der Jumelage (Dr. Richard Auernheimer) und dem Vorsitzenden dieser Veranstaltung (Prof. Dr. Clemens Wollny).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Alle Teilnehmer arbeiten in unterschiedlichen Bereichen und stellten ihre vergangenen und aktuellen Aktivit\u00e4ten vor.\u00a0Geplant sind einige neue Projekte im Bereich Landwirtschaft und Weinbau und unsere Zusammenarbeit in der Startup- und Wissenschaftsszene zusammen mit der Universit\u00e4t von Ruanda. Unser Projektleiter Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch hatte das Privileg unser Projekt dem Publikum vorzustellen. Die Pr\u00e4sentation wurde von seiner Exzellenz dem Botschafter von Ruanda in Deutschland, Igor C\u00e9sar, gew\u00fcrdigt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Es ist sch\u00f6n zu sehen, dass die \u00fcber 35-j\u00e4hrige Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ruanda und Deutschland immer noch mit vielen Ideen, Projekten und Menschen aus beiden L\u00e4ndern gef\u00fcllt ist. Wir freuen uns darauf, ein Teil dieser Erfolgsgeschichte zu sein!<\/span><\/p>\n
